The Partner Patrol System

The Partner Patrol Management System is a guard tour or security patrol verification system which is designed to record the place, date and time of each visit undertaken by a security officer. At the front end of the system is the Partner Robust Recorder. The recorder is touched on designated The Partner Patrol Points, during a guard tour, causing a blue LED on the recorder to light up to confirm contact. As an optional extra, the Partner Robust Recorder can be fitted with a buzzer to confirm contact with a patrol point. Should physical abuse occur to The Partner Robust recorder the on board The Partner Abuse Detection System (PADS) will record the date, time and veracity of any impact. The shock sensor records the veracity of impact recording a high, medium or low impact. In cases where there are 15 impacts within an hour The Partner Robust Recorder shuts down and will only reactivate when the recorder is downloaded.

Normally at the end of a patrol, guard tour or shift the recorder is downloaded onto a computer through The Partner Docking Station, which is connected to the computer using a RS232 serial port. The download process is controlled by The Partner Professional Software Package. Data can also be transferred from remote locations to a central point, using the internet, avoiding the necessity of physically collecting data.

The software is a SQL server database capable of manipulating the data into various report formats from line by line activity reports to exception reporting. In addition to recording patrol or guard tour events, The Partner Professional Software can be programmed to read personnel activities and incident occurrences. The Partner Professional Software Package can be upgraded to The Partner LIVE which transfers data after each patrol to a control room. It provides sufficient information for the control room to follow up with a security officer should the patrol or guard tour not conform to requirements. At predetermined times, exception reports can e-mailed to operational management and if requested customers.
