The Partner Max-i

Interconnective Ltd will be launching the Partner Max-i GPRS patrol recorder in March 2012. The security industry bespoke Max-i is designed to provide the modern security officer with an efficient tool as well as providing security companies with real time management information.
The Partner Max-i offers the following features:

  • Automated Data Transfer: the device can be set-up to transfer data as it is recorded in a real-time fashion or once per day or weekly. This enables the end user to control their data costs.

  • Voice: The unit is able to accept telephone calls. This feature will be programmable to accept all calls or only designated numbers, allowing supervisors and control room staff to contact a guard on site without the use of mobile phones which can be easily abused.

  • Motion sensor: This allows the unit to detect when the guard has stopped moving whether due to injury or sleep. The device can be set-up to warn the guard to make a movement and an alarm condition will send a text message and/or signal to the monitoring software to alert the control room.

  • Buttons: The device has ‘Panic’ and ‘Call’ buttons which when pressed can be programmed to send text messages and/or signals to the monitoring software. These signals can be used to alert control room staff of a panic condition, request voice communication or simply provide interval check-in requirements.

  • Dual battery system: The device will incorporate a dual battery system consisting of a primary non-rechargeable and a secondary re-chargeable battery. Whilst the re-chargeable battery has power, the device will operate as per normal with all features enabled. Once the re-chargeable battery has run flat, the non-rechargeable battery takes over and operates the device in a low power mode. In this low power mode only essential patrol recording features are enabled, no motion sensing, voice or data transfer features are available until the unit has been charged again. Common problems with such devices are excuses about patrols not completed because the battery has run flat, this unique feature allows the guard to continue making patrol visits until the unit is placed on charge and data can be transferred.

  • iButton sensor The device will contain our advanced protection circuitry which allows the contact sensor to detect and withstand excessive voltages that may be applied to the device in order to break the unit and halt operation. This will allow any out-of-operating-range electrical signals, even mains supply, to be detected and protected against.
